The return window.
Unaltered pieces may be returned within thirty days of delivery. The window is counted from the date the carrier marks the parcel delivered; the starting date appears on the order page.
What can be returned.
- Loose stones that have not been set.
- Stock mounts that have not been engraved, resized, or otherwise altered.
- Configurations (stone + mount) that have not been personalised beyond the standard size options offered at checkout.
What cannot be returned.
- Commissioned pieces.
- Engraved pieces.
- Mounts resized outside the standard range.
- Loose stones that have been set into a third-party mount.
- Any piece visibly worn or damaged after delivery.
The process.
Write to the atelier with the order number. We issue a pre-paid, insured return label within one working day, with instructions for repacking. Ship the piece in its original packaging with the certificate and paperwork; the shipment travels insured, at our cost.
The refund is issued on the original payment method within five working days of our receipt and inspection of the returned piece.
Lifetime service on mounts.
Every mount made by the atelier carries a lifetime service against manufacturing defect — a broken prong, a failed solder, a stone that has loosened under reasonable wear. Write to the atelier and we will repair at no charge. This is distinct from damage caused by accidental impact, neglect, or third-party interference, which we quote and repair at cost.
Re-certification.
Re-submission to the lab of your choice — for a decade-old stone, after a resize, or on resale — is available at cost at any time. The original certificate PDF remains on our file.
Resize.
A ring may be resized within six months of delivery at cost, within the metal’s tolerance. Resize outside that window follows the same price book; platinum and bespoke rings have limits on up-sizing due to structural constraints.
