1. General information.
This website is operated by Ranieri Gems S.r.l., registered in Italy; the VAT number and registration details are being finalised. Use of the site is subject to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Products and services.
Ranieri Gems sells certified precious stones, mounts, and finely crafted jewellery. We describe every product as accurately as possible; images are for illustration and may differ slightly from the actual item.
Every gemstone comes with certification issued by recognised gemmological institutes (GIA, IGI, HRD, AGS). The characteristics stated in the certificate prevail.
3. Prices and payments.
Prices shown on the site include VAT. Shipping costs, where applicable, are stated separately during checkout.
We accept payment through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and SEPA where available). For orders above €15,000 we accept bank transfer and confirm the order once funds are received.
4. Shipping.
Shipments are insured for the full value of their contents and entrusted to specialist couriers (DHL or FedEx), with delivery against signature. You will find the details on the Shipping page.
5. Right of withdrawal.
Under Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Italian Consumer Code), you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. For Ranieri Gems customers we extend the right of withdrawal to 30 days. Withdrawal does not apply to personalised or made-to-measure items (commissions, engraving, resizing beyond tolerance). 6. Warranty.
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided by the Consumer Code (24 months). We also offer a lifetime guarantee on mounts against manufacturing defects.
7. Privacy.
We process your personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). For more information, see the Privacy Policy.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Court of Milan, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
